Text Box: OTR Trippers Buck N Blue aka “Frankie”
AMHR# 200432A & WCMHR# WC18071A-P
29” 1999 Bay with blue eyes
Sire: Longview Acres T’s Nite Tripper (29” Buckskin)
Dam: Trixie’s Queeny (32.5” Chestnut)

Frankie was our first mini. He really lifts his legs when he moves. Frankie’s blue eyes is caused by the splash gene. The manner in which his face white goes down to the lips is an indication of sabino. We had him tested for the LWO gene (lethal white overo), it came back negative.

Text Box: OTR Trippers Spotted Surprise aka “Chief”
AMHR# 211116A & WCMHR# Pending
26.5” 2000 Silver Bay Appaloosa
Sire: Longview Acres T’s Nite Tripper (29” Buckskin)
Dam: Tattletails Tenacious Tahnee (33.5” Red Roan Appaloosa)

Chief looks like a chestnut with flaxen mane and tail, but he is actually a bay with the silver gene. Note the white mane and tail and the silver half way up his legs, where the black would be on a bay with no silver gene. There are several shades of silver bay. Palomino is a chestnut horse carrying one cream gene. His spots indicate Tobiano + Splash + Sabino
